KIDS
Our Sunday School classes are filled with excitement, fun and activities where children are engaged to become active in their faith. We provide a safe and creative atmosphere so that children can learn the stories from God's Word and be led to the fulness of salvation. We have weekly classes and a monthly Kids Church service where children are taught to pray, worship and become involved in their church.
Risen Youth
These are challenging times for young men and women to understand our present world. At Risen Youth, we engage our students with real life instructions through God's Word. Our goal is to help students build on a solid foundation so that they can find true purpose through serving God. We have weekly youth services and Christian Education classes as well as a monthly Life Connect class. We examine the issues of life, family and community so that we genuinely serve the needs of the world around us.
Spanish
Every service is translated into Spanish. We have members from Guatemala, Peru, Nicaragua and Mexico in our congregation. We have been involved with Spanish ministry for over 25 years. Our Spanish saints have a yearly revival and travel in the State of Arkansas to many special meetings with other Spanish speaking people. The Arkansas District has a yearly Spanish Camp Meeting that allows our Spanish members to fellowship and enjoy special music and ministry in their own language.
World Missions
CalvaryGurdon believes in the mission of God's church - The Whole Gospel, To The Whole World, By The Whole Church! We share a strong burden to reaching the nations of the world and help support many missionaries in different countries. We help build Bible Schools, new church buildings, provide vehicles for our missionaries, print literature in many languages and offer support during times of natural disasters. We also help new churches start up in the United States by providing financial assistance, music equipment and participate in the Church In A Day program of the United Pentecostal Church.
MUSIC
Ronda Bates is the Music Director for Calvary Gurdon. She has been serving the church in that role since 2001. Ronda, along with late husband, George, has worked in the Music and Media department of the church as well as many other roles. Ronda has 3 daughters, Kiesha, Leah and Avain.
